Job Description



  • Property Condition Assessment: Offer insights into property conditions and localities, providing resolution options for both current and planned projects.


  • Survey and Documentation Management:
    • Conduct thorough building and site surveys.
    • Prepare CAD-generated contract drawings and documentation, including schedules of work, and apply JCT & TPC2005 contract formats.
    • Generate detailed estimates and cost analyses, monitor contract valuations, and issue site instructions and variation orders.


  • Inspection and Issue Resolution:
    • Perform pre- and post-inspection surveys to identify and address areas of disrepair effectively.
    • Support the resolution of identified issues to ensure properties meet organisational and regulatory standards.


  • Budget and Grant Control: Oversee contract scheme budgets and grants, ensuring strict adherence to organisational procedures and legal regulations.


  • Health & Safety and CDM Compliance:
    • Collaborate on Health and Safety matters, preparing Safety Plans and Files and conducting Risk Assessments in line with CDM regulations.


  • Project and Assignment Delivery:
    • Deliver projects and professional assignments effectively, meeting targets and adhering to procedures.
    • Support senior colleagues in larger project delivery, ensuring quality and timeliness.


  • Stakeholder Relationship Management:
    • Foster strong relationships with a diverse range of stakeholders, including internal teams and customers, to support the development of complex pilot schemes and programmes.


  • Regulatory Compliance and Best Practices:
    • Stay up to date with legislation related to Building Regulations, Construction Design Management, Planning, and Health & Safety.
    • Prioritise Equality, Diversity & Inclusion in decision-making, applying inclusive language and valuing diverse perspectives in all processes.
