The Benefits Advisor will play a key role in supporting the not-for-profit organisation's HR department by providing expert advice on employee benefits and ensuring compliance with policies. Job Description

  • Provide expert advice on employee benefits to internal stakeholders across the group, including pensions, healthcare, maternity leave, and wellbeing initiatives.
  • Deliver engaging presentations and communications to employees via site visits, webinars, and virtual meetings to boost awareness and participation.
  • Manage relationships with external benefits providers, supporting procurement activities like tenders, contract renewals, and supplier performance monitoring.
  • Support the administration and reporting of benefits schemes, ensuring compliance with legal and payroll regulations.
  • Analyse benefits data to measure impact, identify trends, and recommend improvements aligned with business and employee needs.
  • Collaborate with HR, payroll, procurement, and shared services teams to continuously review and enhance benefits policies and processes.
  • Assist with project management and employee queries to ensure smooth delivery and positive employee experience.



The Successful Applicant

The Ideal candidate will have the following:

  • Proven experience in employee benefits advisory, HR, or payroll functions, with strong knowledge of benefits administration, compliance and taxable benefits.
  • Proven experience in benefits administration
  • Proven experience in supporting with employee benefits, including both internally provided and externally procured benefits.
  • Skilled communicator, comfortable engaging colleagues at all levels both face-to-face and virtually.
  • Strong analytical abilities, confident in working with data to inform decisions and demonstrate ROI.
  • Excellent stakeholder management and relationship-building skills, including working with procurement and suppliers.
  • Detail-oriented, proactive, and innovative, with solid project management experience.
