Job Description

  • Develop and implement strategic sales plans to meet and exceed targets.
  • Manage and grow relationships with key retail partners, ensuring outstanding service and product performance.
  • Identify and secure new business opportunities with independent retailers and national chains.
  • Work closely with internal teams to ensure seamless execution of marketing and merchandising initiatives.
  • Analyse sales data and market trends to adapt strategies and maximise revenue.
  • Regularly visit accounts and retail locations to strengthen relationships and optimise product placement.

The Successful Applicant

A successful Area Sales Manager should have:

  • Proven experience in field sales
  • Strong communication, negotiation, and relationship-building skills.
  • A results-oriented mindset with a proven ability to achieve and exceed targets.
  • Analytical skills and the ability to interpret sales data and market insights.
  • Self-motivated, organised, and able to manage multiple priorities effectively.
  • A passion for connecting with people and delivering exceptional service
  • FMCG experience
  • Clean driving license
