Our client, based near Grantham, is looking for an assistant accountant, or a management accountant, to join them on a contract basis for 6 months initially but possibly leading to a longer term, or permanent role. This is a hybrid working role, with 3 days per week in the office and 2 days from home.

You will be in a split position across the audit and business services department. You will be involved with all audit work from start to finish as well as preparing financial statements ready for audit. When not on site with clients, you will be supporting the wider business services department with the provision of accounting services to a mixed client base.

Predominantly responsible for the management of relationships within a client bank worth just over £250,000 in annual fees - you would oversee budgets and profitability for this portfolio. As part of this role, you would have direct reporting lines for a pool of 8 accountants of mixed experiences from graduates up to senior qualified staff.
