Save Job Back to Search Job Description Summary Similar JobsYeovil based Warehouse Manager for a Growing businessGreat oppotunity to progress you Warehouse Leadership career.About Our ClientOur client is a well-established large organisation based in Yeovil.With a strong reputation for quality, they are committed to providing top-notch products to their customers, and are now seeking a dedicated Warehouse Manager to join their logistics team.They are based within the Logistics Distribution and supply chain sector.Job DescriptionCore Aspects of the Warehouse Operations Manager role will include:* End-to-End Supply Chain Management - Oversee the full supply chain process, ensuring efficient procurement, inventory control, and demand planning to meet business needs.* Optimise Logistics Operations - Manage warehouse, transport, and distribution activities to ensure timely and cost-effective deliveries.* Supplier & Vendor Relationships - Build and maintain strong relationships with suppliers, logistics partners, and key stakeholders to drive performance and cost efficiency's.* Inventory & Stock Control - Ensure accurate stock levels, reduce waste, and improve inventory forecasting to avoid shortages or overstocking.* Customer Order Fulfilment - Oversee sales order processing, ensuring on-time and in-full (OTIF) deliveries while maintaining excellent customer service.* Data-Driven Performance Management - Monitor and analyse supply chain KPIs, such as lead times, cost per unit, and supplier performance, to drive continuous improvement.* Warehouse & Facility Oversight - Manage warehouse operations, ensuring optimal layout, stock movement, and safety compliance.* Process Improvement & Cost Reduction - Identify opportunities to streamline processes, negotiate better supplier terms, and reduce operational costs without compromising service quality.* Cross-Functional Collaboration - Work closely with production, sales, and finance teams to align supply chain strategies with business goals.* Regulatory Compliance & Risk Management - Ensure full compliance with health & safety, environmental, and industry regulations, mitigating risks across the supply chain.The Successful ApplicantA successful Warehouse Manager should have:Proven experience in warehouse managementProficiency in warehouse software packages and MS OfficeFamiliarity with modern warehousing practices and methodsExcellent leadership skills and the ability to manage 30 employeesStrong decision-making skills and a hands-on approach to workAn understanding of health and safety regulationsExcellent organisational skills and the ability to work under pressureCommutable daily to Yeovil 5 days per weelWhat's on OfferA competitive salary between £60,000 and £65,000 per annumCar Allowance £9,000Holiday leave of 20 days plus bank holidaysAn opportunity to work in a large, well-established retail organisationA supportive and professional work environmentIf you are a results-driven individual with a passion for logistics and warehouse management, this is the perfect opportunity for you.
