This role will give the successful candidate a chance to truly flourish within a challenging, demanding, but rewarding environment with lots of room to progress along the way.Job DescriptionThe Warehouse Contract Manager role will require the individual to:Report to the General Manager.Manage Direct reports of 2 x Operations Managers, along with an indirect headcount of circa 50+ heads consisting of; Operations Support Managers, Shift Managers, Team Managers, Stock & Inventory Managers, Team Leaders and Operatives.Be responsible for the site in it's entirety, including customer management, employee engagement, P&L / Costs and Continuous Improvement strategies.Overall responsibility for process design and daily delivery for inbound, pick and outbound operations through the team.Be responsible for direct relationships with each customer both operationally and financially.Be responsible for effective inventory controls, ensuring the customer portfolios are maintained within key SLA guidelines.Develop strategies to ensure on-boarding of new customers.Accountable for medium term succession planning across your site.Act as GM when needed.Commutable to NorthamptonThis role would suit a candidate that has worked in a; Operations Manager, Contract Manager, Site Manager, position previously.The Successful ApplicantThe successful candidate for the Warehouse Contract Manager role will have the following skills and experiences:A Logistics Distribution and Supply Chain background - EssentialBe Degree educated (or similar) - AdvantageousManaged Multiple customers previously - AdvantageousA minimum of 5+ years Logistics experience at an equivalent level previously - Essential.
