VP - Shipping Finance - Execution/Structuring

This team is involved in every new lending transaction, working in conjunction with client relationship managers and Deal Principals. They take ownership of critical processes, including:

• 
  
  Preparing and efficiently handling credit approval packages, including annexes and necessary attachments.
• 
  
  Conducting financial modeling with sensitivity analysis and validation of key assumptions.
• 
  
  Running internal models to assess risk ratings and loan pricing, and liaising with risk management to determine appropriate risk ratings and appetite.
• 
  
  Coordinating with loan operations and limit owners.
• 
  
  Overseeing deal closures, including final conditions precedent (CPs) and obtaining finalized loan documents.
• 
  
  Creating marketing materials.
• 
  
  Supporting deal principals in term sheet negotiations.
• 
  
  Analyzing various transaction structures and offering recommendations.
• 
  
  Preparing business comparables and assessing debt structures, performance metrics, and pricing.
• 
  
  Participating in meetings and calls with clients, including transaction-related due diligence.

Specific Vice President Responsibilities

• 
  
  Assisting sector bankers in originating new deals, including providing input for marketing materials, due diligence, and term sheets.
• 
  
  Engaging legal counsel to draft loan documentation, reviewing documents, and supporting sector teams in client negotiations.
• 
  
  Reviewing legal agreements to ensure they align with credit approval conditions and optimize risk balance.
• 
  
  Preparing and analyzing due diligence reports and summaries.
• 
  
  Supervising and drafting Greenlight memos, preparing presentations, and engaging with Risk Management.
• 
  
  Ensuring all conditions precedent (CPs) are met and coordinating with Legal, Deal Execution, Treasury, and other departments for smooth transaction closure.
• 
  
  Fostering a strong team environment through mentorship and coaching of junior colleagues.
• 
  
  Leading the Execution Team and overseeing transactions from Greenlight approval through closure.
