Job Description
- Manage and guide a team in delivering VAT services to clients
- Review and prepare complex VAT returns
- Stay informed of changes in VAT legislation and advise clients accordingly
- Develop and implement effective VAT planning strategies
- Maintain strong relationships with clients, ensuring their VAT needs are met
- Collaborate with other departments to provide integrated services to clients
- Contribute to the development and training of junior staff members
- Participate in business development initiatives and events
The Successful Applicant
A successful VAT Manager should have:
- A professional accounting or tax qualification
- Demonstrable experience in a similar VAT Manager role for a UK-based accountancy firm/office
- Excellent knowledge of VAT legislation and its practical application
- Strong leadership and team management skills
- Excellent client relationship management abilities
- Strong communication and presentation skills
