My client is well known for a friendly and sociable working environment, that focuses on providing top quality training for their employees.Job DescriptionSupport the preparation of budgets, forecasts, and long-term plans.Analyse customer and portfolio trends (e.g., margins, volumes, attrition).Collaborate cross-functionally to ensure accurate, relevant data.Contribute to monthly management reporting and performance commentary.Assist with pricing and costing analysis, including variances vs. forecast.Conduct financial modelling and scenario analysis on key business drivers (e.g., sales, volume, pricing).Provide insights to Commercial, Sales, and Operations teams.Evaluate new commercial opportunities and pricing strategies.The Successful ApplicantA successful Trainee Commercial Finance Analyst should have:Have recently graduated from a Finance, Accounting, Economics, Mathematics or relevant degree. OR have gained 6+months in an entry level/transactional finance assistant/analyst position.Excellent communication skills and attention to detailConfident and outgoing to communicate with stakeholdersA proactive attitude with a willingness to learn and adapt.Be ambitious, driven and motivated to learn and developAn interest in completing a professional accounting qualification.
