Understand company objectives and strive to meet or exceed the KPIs and metrics.Job DescriptionReporting to the Design Lead the Press Tool Design Engineer will be responsible for designing and developing press tool and fixture designs, and implementing improvements to manufacturing and assembly processes.Quality, Innovation, attention to detail, sustainability, competitive enterprise, global capability, unique product, ease of use in all work-related activities. Understand company objectives and strive to meet or exceed the KPIs and metrics.Mechanical design for new projects, turning concepts into cost effective press tool designs.Design single, multi-stage and progression press toolingSub contractor and supplier liaison.Investigate and undertake analysis on how to improve existing press tooling or componentsPreparation of design solutions including CAD models, detailed drawings, assembly drawings, BOM's and related documentation.
