Job Description

As Territory Sales Manager, you will be responsible for driving sales growth and expanding market share across your region. Key responsibilities include:

  • Developing and executing a sales strategy to increase revenue within your territory
  • Building strong, long-term relationships with contractors, merchants, and key decision-makers
  • Identifying new business opportunities and converting prospects into customers
  • Managing the full sales cycle from initial contact through to negotiation and close
  • Maintaining regular visits to clients and project sites to ensure consistent engagement
  • Reporting on sales performance, pipeline, and market insights to management
  • Collaborating with internal teams to deliver a seamless customer experience
  • Representing the brand at trade shows, networking events, and industry forums



The Successful Applicant

  • Proven track record in sales, ideally within construction or building products
  • Strong business development skills with the ability to win new clients
  • Excellent communication and negotiation skills, able to influence at all levels
  • Self-motivated and target-driven, with the resilience to thrive in a competitive market
  • Capable of managing a territory effectively, balancing office and field-based work
  • Strong organisational skills with the ability to manage multiple opportunities at once
  • Ideally located within commutable distance of St Albans, or willing to travel when required
  • Professional, driven, and committed to building long-term client relationships

  • Competitive base salary of £60,000 per annum.
