We are seeking a diligent and proficient Temp Financial Accountant, ready to contribute their expertise within the public sector. The successful candidate will be crucial in maintaining financial reports, records and general ledgers in our Accounting & Finance department.

Job Description

  • Prepare the Annual statement to Public Sector regulations
  • Liaise with the External Auditors
  • Prepare Monthly monthly balance sheets, income statements, and profit and loss statements.
  • Ensure the accuracy of financial documents, as well as their compliance with relevant laws and regulations.
  • Prepare and submit tax returns.
  • Schedule, prepare and coordinate the audit process.
  • Implement and maintain financial policies and procedures.
  • Ensure data privacy and compliance with financial regulations.
  • Collaborate with management to develop financial strategies.
  • Analyse financial data and prepare reports for management.

The Successful Applicant

A successful Temp Financial Accountant should have:

  • Qualified Accountant
  • Public Sector Year End Accounting experience
  • Adept knowledge in accounting principles and procedures.
  • Proficiency in relevant accounting software.
  • Strong analytical skills and attention to detail.
  • Ability to work in a team and communicate effectively.
  • A proven track record in a similar role within the public sector.
