Due to continued growth and further investment, R&M electrical are now looking for a Technical Sales Manager to play a pivotal role in driving growth across their Assembly and Prefabrication division.

Job Description

The Technical Sales Manager will:-

  • Manage Relationships: Continue to manage and develop key customer relationships across the group at a UK and European level.
  • Drive Growth: Identify and secure new business opportunities, build strong client relationships, and expand their customer base in key markets.
  • Develop Solutions: Work closely with clients to understand their requirements and provide tailored assembly and Prefabrication solutions.
  • Collaborate: Partner with technical and operational teams to ensure seamless project execution and delivery.
  • Strategise: Develop and implement a robust sales strategy to achieve revenue and market share targets.
  • Lead with Expertise: Stay ahead of industry trends and leverage your technical knowledge to provide innovative and competitive solutions.

The Successful Applicant

The Technical Sales Manager will:-

 

  • Ideally have a proven track record in technical sales, preferably within the electrical or related industries.
  • Possess a strong understanding of assembly and prefabrication processes and solutions.
  • Be able to demonstrate exceptional communication and negotiation skills, with the ability to build lasting relationships with stakeholders at various levels.
  • Be a proactive and self-motivated attitude, capable of working independently to meet and exceed targets.
  • Have a passion for delivering exceptional customer service and a commitment to excellence.
  • Be able to travel frequently on a national scale with ad-hoc visits to the site in Southampton.
