Job Description

- Lead the timely and accurate completion of the Group's Corporation Tax compliance for all entities.

- Prepare year-end tax charges, notes, and calculations for financial statements.

- Act as the liaison with external tax advisors and review their outputs.

- Prepare deferred tax calculations, capital allowances schedules, and manage Group relief claims.

- Calculate quarterly Corporation Tax instalments.

- Support the Group Tax Manager on ad hoc tax projects and HMRC Business Risk Reviews.

- Engage with HMRC and internal stakeholders on tax-related queries and controls.

The Successful Applicant

A successful Tax Manager should have:

  • Professional tax qualification or equivalent in a related field.
  • Proven expertise in tax compliance and advisory work.
  • Strong knowledge of tax regulations.
  • Experience in managing corporate tax.
  • Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills.
  • Ability to effectively communicate complex tax issues to non-specialists.
  • Attention to detail and the ability to meet deadlines.
