Job Description

  • Prepare client tax returns ensuring accuracy and compliance with tax regulations
  • Assist with tax planning and research activities
  • Communicate effectively with clients to understand their tax needs
  • Collaborate with the tax team to develop and implement tax strategies
  • Stay updated on current tax practices and changes in tax law
  • Maintain client confidentiality and professional relationships
  • Assist in other tax-related projects as necessary

The Successful Applicant

A successful Tax Assistant should have:

  • A degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field
  • ATT or CTA part qualified or QBE
  • Proficient understanding of tax laws and regulations
  • Strong numerical and analytical abilities
  • Excellent communication skills to liaise with clients and colleagues
  • Ability to work well in a team as well as independently
  • High attention to detail and accuracy in all work
