Job Description

  • Provide bespoke tax advice to private clients, ensuring compliance with relevant legislation.
  • Prepare and review personal tax returns for a portfolio of clients.
  • Identify tax-saving opportunities and advise clients on efficient tax planning strategies.
  • Collaborate with other departments to deliver comprehensive client solutions.
  • Support clients with HMRC enquiries and liaise with tax authorities on their behalf.
  • Keep up-to-date with changes in tax legislation and communicate their impact to clients.
  • Assist in developing and maintaining strong client relationships.
  • Contribute to the growth of the tax department by supporting business development activities.

The Successful Applicant

A successful Tax Advisor - Private Client Tax should have:

  • A professional tax qualification or equivalent experience in private client tax advisory services.
  • Strong technical knowledge of UK tax legislation, particularly in relation to private clients.
  • Proven ability to manage a diverse client portfolio effectively.
  • Attention to detail and a proactive approach to problem-solving.
  • Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal, to convey complex information clearly.
  • Experience in the professional services industry is advantageous.
