Syndications - Corporate Banking RM

• The primary responsibility of the Relationship Manager (RM) is to collaborate with the Team Head to market and secure qualifying business opportunities in line with budget, risk appetite, risk-return measures, policies, procedures, regulations, and strategy.
• The RM will be the bank's first point of contact in building client relationships (including banks, financial advisors, and sponsors), participating in syndicated loans, underwriting transactions, negotiating terms with counterparties, and providing the full spectrum of the bank's global services to clients.
• Assisting the Team Head with marketing efforts, client meetings, and preparing pitches and presentations as needed.
• Preparing credit applications, including customer credit risk analysis, business risk analysis, financial modelling, and financial risk analysis, for presentation to both UK and Head Office credit committees.
• Ongoing reporting and monitoring of clients, including quarterly and annual reviews, financial covenant reviews, waiver request processing, and overall post-loan monitoring.
• Maintaining a strong interest in and awareness of market trends in international business, including developments in the UK and European corporate banking markets.
