Job Description

  • Lead the strategic buying process for the company's procurement and supply chain department.
  • Identify, evaluate, and manage key supplier relationships to ensure quality and timely delivery of services.
  • Develop and implement cost-effective procurement strategies.
  • Monitor market trends to inform purchasing decisions.
  • Coordinate with department leaders to forecast future supply needs.
  • Ensure compliance with company policies and industry regulations.
  • Handle contract negotiation with suppliers.
  • Manage a team of procurement professionals.

The Successful Applicant

A successful Strategic Buyer should have:

  • Proven experience in strategic buying within the financial services industry.
  • Strong negotiation and vendor management skills.
  • Excellent understanding of market dynamics and sound business judgement.
  • Ability to lead and manage a team.
  • Strong analytical skills with a problem-solving attitude.
