As Specification Sales Manager, you'll be responsible for building and managing relationships with architects, specifiers, project managers, Main Contractors, NHS Trusts, the Ministry of Justice and other key stakeholders. Your focus will be on positioning our client's products at the heart of major capital build and refurbishment projects in prisons, secure hospitals, and mental health facilities.

Job Description

  • Drive product specification into new-build and refurbishment projects within custodial and secure healthcare sectors
  • Build and nurture relationships with Contractors, Architects, Consultants, and End-users across the UK
  • Present technical solutions that meet complex safety, anti-ligature, and security requirements
  • Collaborate with internal technical, design and project teams to ensure client needs are met
  • Track and manage pipeline opportunities using CRM tools
  • Deliver CPD presentations and represent our client at industry events and trade shows



The Successful Applicant

A successful Specification Sales Manager should have:

  • Proven experience in specification sales, ideally within secure or mental health environments
  • Strong understanding of the construction process, including working with specifiers, architects, and Tier 1 contractors
  • Familiarity with MoJ, NHS or other public sector procurement frameworks is highly desirable
  • Excellent communication, presentation, and negotiation skills
  • Self-motivated, target-driven and highly organised
  • Willing to travel nationally as required
