Job Description

  • Manage credit control processes for Spanish and Portuguese-speaking clients.
  • Ensure timely collection of outstanding invoices while maintaining client relationships.
  • Reconcile client accounts and resolve discrepancies efficiently.
  • Collaborate with internal teams to address payment issues and improve processes.
  • Maintain accurate records of all communication and transactions.
  • Prepare reports on aged debt and payment trends for management review.
  • Provide support with ad hoc tasks within the accounting and finance team.
  • Communicate effectively in Spanish, Portuguese, and English to support stakeholders.

The Successful Applicant

A successful Spanish and Portuguese Credit Control professional should have:

  • Fluency in Spanish, Portuguese, and English, both written and spoken.
  • Previous experience in credit control.
  • Strong numerical and analytical skills with attention to detail.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Excel and familiarity with accounting software.
  • Effective communication skills to liaise with clients and internal teams.
  • A proactive approach to problem-solving and debt resolutions.
