Our Client is a PE backed developer of Social Housing.

Job Description

You will:

  • Lead and mentor a team of Paralegals, fostering a collaborative and high-performing environment.
  • Oversee daily operations and ensure timely completion of shared ownership and conveyancing matters.
  • Support professional development and training of junior team members.
  • Provide expert legal advice on shared ownership, leasehold transactions, staircasing, and resales.
  • Ensure compliance with relevant legislation and Homes England guidelines.
  • Resolve complex legal issues and deliver clear, actionable guidance to internal stakeholders.

The Successful Applicant

You will be a Qualified Solicitor in England and Wales, ideally, with at least 6 years' PQE (the client is open to considering all candidates who can demonstrate the necessary skills for this role)You will have:

  • Post qualified experience in housing law and residential conveyancing.
  • Proven leadership experience and ability to manage a legal team.
  • An ability to handle complex cases and provide strategic legal advice.
  • In-depth knowledge of shared ownership schemes, housing management, and conveyancing processes.
