The company is renowned for its innovative solutions and excellent customer service.Job DescriptionReporting to the Head of OperationsDefine, manage and deliver Aberdeen-shire Hub businesses P&LsOverall accountability for: the compliant and efficient operation of the Aberdeen Hub sitesProfit & Loss Account for all aspects of the business operationSetting and meeting (or exceeding) site budgetsData collation and assessment of trends will be fundamental to driving a data led decision making culture;Ensuring site KPI's are set, monitored and corrective actions are in place to ensure targets are met.Main site accountable contact for third parties.Responsibility for direct and indirect reportees.Part of the on-call escalation process for the site(s) within the groupOversee health and safety procedures to maintain a safe working environmentManage relationships with key stakeholders, both internal and externalThe Successful ApplicantKey SkillsEducated to degree levelOperational knowledge and experience within Senior Leadership in a production or manufacturing sector, ideally within or relatable to the renewable energy sector.Be based or willing to relocate to the north coast of Aberdeen-shireDirect experience of defining, implementing, and controlling operations strategy, objectives and budgets.Experience of full responsibility for the management of the P&L Account of a similar sized business.Strongly developed SHEQ Compliance skills and understanding of the importance of a highly developed culture of safe working within an operations environmentStrong Leadership skills - able to demonstrate successful management of a team of 10+ people, recognising excellence and managing poor performance.Knowledge of Malt distillation processes, including co-production would be beneficial however not essential.Experience of setting up a new site and/or commissioning activities would be a distinct advantageExperience of auditingNEBOSH Certificate/Managing Safety qualificationSix Sigma or similar process related trainingWhat's on OfferA competitive salary in the range of £70-80k per annumAdditional £6,000 car allowanceOpportunity to lead a high-performing team in a well-established companyA positive and professional work environmentGenerous holiday leaveIf you are a strategic thinker with the ability to lead and inspire a team, this Site Leader role in the Aberdeen area could be your next career move.
