The Site CapEx Manager will lead the capital expenditure (CapEx) projects, focusing on efficiency, quality, and cost-effectiveness within the manufacturing industry. This role is based in Waterford and requires a strong background in operational manufacturing and project engineering.

Job Description

  • Lead and manage all site CapEx projects ensuring the approved portfolio is delivered to the approved deliverables
  • Ensure that all governance and compliance of the site capital portfolio is aligned to global standards and requirements, both Engineering and Finance
  • Ensure all projects adhere to health and safety regulations
  • Responsible for the project team delivering the portfolio. This team consists of a cross functional team of engineers working across two sites
  • Develop and manage relationships with external suppliers and contractors.
  • Provide subject matter expertise to regulatory inspections and interact with auditors, as necessary
  • Report regularly on project progress to senior management.
  • Drive continuous improvement initiatives within the manufacturing facility.
  • Support the development and execution of the site strategic plan.

The Successful Applicant

A successful Site CapEx Manager should have:

  • A degree in Engineering (chemical or mechanical) Manufacturing, or a related field.
  • Proven experience leading CapEx projects within the maunfacturing industry.
  • Strong knowledge of manufacturing processes and efficiency improvements.
  • Excellent project management and leadership skills.
  • Proven skills in communication and presentation of case studies, briefs and proposals at all levels of an enterprise level manufacturing firm, (FMCG-Pharma).
  • Significant and recent EHS experience
