With a particular focus on innovation and sustainability, they have a robust reputation for delivering high-quality products.Job DescriptionIntroduce and implement internal strategic quality systems and procedures to ensure continuous quality improvements and meet customer requirementsSpecifically implement and maintain the Quality Standard TS16949 and IS014001 to comply with customer requirementsSupport SET with Internal Part Submission Warrants (PSW) to ensure they are submitted and approved within the customer specified timescales to ensure all product related documentation is maintained and approvedSupport Project team/activities to ensure smooth integration into mass productionContinually analyse customer, corporate and internal metrics, using statistical techniques to identify key concerns and trends, ensuring continuous improvement.Ensure that problem resolution tools, such as 8D, Fishbone Diagrams and Brainstorming, are used to identify sustainable solutions to quality concernsEffectively manage the Quality Department, within budget, ensuring that all aims and objectives are metEnsure that suppliers are managed and developed to meet the requirements of the products and service to ensure the most effective ongoing service is provided with existing and new product informationWork with the Engineering Department/Program Management on the introduction of new models and product changes, with the use of Advanced Product Quality Planning (APQP) to ensure all quality aspects considered and metThe Successful ApplicantA successful SHEQ Manager should have:Proven experience in a similar SHEQ role within the Automotive industry.Strong knowledge of SHEQ regulations and standards.Excellent communication skills, with the ability to train and influence others.Strong problem-solving and decision-making abilities.Automotive backgroundWorking knowledge of OEM quality management systemsWorking knowledge of TS16949, & ISO 9001, 14001, 45001Lab experience, CMM, Humidity Chambers etcIOSH or NEBOSH QualificationsWhat's on OfferSalary - £55,000Monday to Friday 8:30 - 17:00 (15:00 finish on Fridays)A supportive and collaborative work environment.Generous holiday allowance.This is an excellent opportunity for a SHEQ Manager to join a progressive company within the industrial/manufacturing sector.
