Job Description

  • Design and develop sweats & jersey collections
  • Research and predict fashion trends
  • Collaborate with the production team to ensure design feasibility
  • Present design concepts to stakeholders
  • Participate in fittings and adjustments
  • Manage a team of junior designers
  • Liaise with suppliers and fabric manufacturers
  • Uphold the company's sustainability values in all designs
  • Travel to Asia, Europe and the US.

The Successful Applicant

A successful 'Senior Designer - Sweats & Jersey' should have:

  • A degree in Fashion Design or a related field
  • 4 years minimum experience in jersey design
  • Proficiency in CAD software
  • Strong sketching skills
  • A thorough understanding of fabric types and their uses
  • Excellent leadership and teamwork skills
  • Ideally experience working with a mid-premium level brand
