Job Description
- Develop and design creative outerwear collections.
- Ensure designs meet cost and production constraints.
- Conduct market research to stay ahead of fashion trends and consumer demands.
- Present design ideas to stakeholders in the business and key customers, and make necessary modifications based on feedback.
- Work closely with the marketing team to promote new collections.
- Ensure the quality of final product meets the company standards.
- Manage multiple projects and adhere to deadlines.
The Successful Applicant
A successful Senior Outerwear Designer should have:
- A degree in Fashion Design or a related field.
- Experience in women's outerwear design within a UK high street retailer and/or supplier.
- Experience working with Bangladesh and China is ideal.
- Ability to work at pace.
- Strong knowledge of the latest fashion trends, the UK high street and consumer behaviour.
- Excellent communication and presentation skills.
- A creative mindset and the ability to think outside the box.
