Job Description

  • Managing and overseeing the tax reporting and governance department.
  • Developing and implementing tax strategies to optimise compliance and minimise risk.
  • Maintaining and improving the company's tax governance framework.
  • Leading and mentoring a diverse team of tax professionals.
  • Managing relationships with external tax consultants and regulators.
  • Keeping up to date with changes in tax legislation and ensuring company policies align with these changes.
  • Overseeing tax audits and handling any disputes or inquiries from tax authorities.
  • Contributing to the overall strategic direction of the tax department.

The Successful Applicant

A successful candidate should have:

  • A strong educational background in tax, finance, or a related field.
  • Proven experience in a senior tax role within a similar industry.
  • Expertise in tax reporting and governance.
  • Strong leadership and team management abilities.
  • Excellent understanding of UK and international tax laws and regulations.
  • Strong analytical skills and attention to detail.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
