Job Description

  • Lead and manage corporate tax engagements for a portfolio of clients in the professional services industry.
  • Provide expert advice on corporate tax planning and compliance matters.
  • Review and oversee the preparation of corporate tax returns and computations.
  • Identify tax-saving opportunities and advise clients on potential risks and strategies.
  • Support clients with tax audits and liaise with HMRC as required.
  • Develop and maintain strong client relationships, acting as the main point of contact for tax-related queries.
  • Mentor and guide junior team members, fostering professional growth within the department.
  • Stay updated on tax legislation changes and ensure compliance with all relevant laws and regulations.

The Successful Applicant

A successful Senior Tax Manager (corporate) should have:

  • A professional qualification such as ACA, ACCA, or CTA.
  • Demonstrated expertise in corporate tax advisory and compliance.
  • Strong knowledge of UK tax legislation and regulations.
  • Experience in managing a portfolio of corporate clients in the professional services industry.
  • Excellent communication and client relationship management skills.
  • Proven ability to lead a team and mentor junior staff members.
  • A proactive approach to identifying tax planning opportunities.
