Job Description

  • Oversee financial aspects of contracts and manage related expenditures.
  • Deliver cost control and financial management support to projects.
  • Assess contractual obligations and rights, ensuring the best financial outcome.
  • Lead budget planning and management for construction projects.
  • Engage in risk management practices, identifying potential financial risks.
  • Collaborate with project teams to ensure financial objectives are met.
  • Maintain regular financial reports, providing updates to stakeholders.
  • Promote and adhere to health and safety regulations within the department.

The Successful Applicant

A successful Senior Quantity Surveyor should have:

  • A degree in Quantity Surveying or related field.
  • Proven experience in a similar role within the Construction industry.
  • Strong financial and numeracy management skills.
  • Excellent knowledge of construction procurement and contract administration.
  • Proficient in cost analysis and forecasting.
  • Strong communication and negotiation skills.
  • Ability to work autonomously and manage your own diary!
