As a medium-sized company, it offers opportunities to work on complex projects within a professional and structured environment.Job DescriptionProgramme Director establishing and leading a multi-phased transformation programme, overseeing strategy, governance, and delivery of initiatives to strengthen the organisation's financial crime prevention frameworkAccountable for end-to-end programme management including regulatory alignment, operating model redesign (including the embedding of a three lines of defence model), technology enablement and process optimisation across AML, Sanctions, Fraud and Customer Due Diligence.Responsible for ownership of a multi-million-pound budget, including financial forecasting and cost controls to ensure optimal value delivery.Held "key person" (Compliance Officer, MLCO, MLRO, Investment Employee) and "principal person" (Director) rolesUsing strong understanding of AML & Financial Crime, Lead the operational response to a Financial Crime Remediation Programme with multiple cohorts of work needing full EDD reviews (from PEPs to Non Personal customers) through to targeted reviews (where customer is suspected of links with high risk / prohibited countries / industries).Responsible for the Supplier Relationship and progress / all outcomesDevelop and implement a robust financial crime framework tailored.Manage programme delivery, ensuring alignment with regulatory requirements and industry standards.Collaborate with cross-functional teams to identify, assess, and mitigate financial crime risks.Oversee the development of policies and procedures to strengthen compliance efforts.Provide expert advice on financial crime prevention strategies to stakeholders.Monitor and report on the programme's progress, addressing any challenges proactively.Ensure effective training and awareness initiatives for relevant teams.Engage with external partners and regulators as necessary to maintain complianceThe Successful ApplicantA successful Senior Programme Manager - Financial Crime should have:Proven experience in programme management within the banking and financial services sector.Strong knowledge of financial crime frameworks and regulatory requirements and implementing Target Operating Models.Demonstrated ability to lead cross-functional teams and deliver results.Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills.Professional certifications in financial crime or compliance are a plus.What's on OfferCompetitive daily rate of approximately £900 to 1200 per day outside IR35.Opportunity to work on a high-impact project in London.Standard benefits included for the duration of the contract.Collaborative and professional work environment.This is a fantastic opportunity for a skilled Senior Programme Manager - Financial Crime to make a significant impact.
