Job Description

  • Leading procurement activities across the organisation - Human Resources and Marketing
  • Developing strategic relationships with key suppliers
  • Managing supply chain operations to ensure efficiency and effectiveness
  • Overseeing the implementation of procurement policies and procedures
  • Managing and developing a high-performing procurement team
  • Driving cost-saving initiatives within the procurement department
  • Ensuring compliance with industry standards and regulations

The Successful Applicant

A successful Senior Procurement Officer should have:

  • Human Resources category experience is a must
  • Proven experience in a procurement leadership role within the industrial/manufacturing sector
  • Strong knowledge of procurement processes and supply chain management
  • Excellent negotiation and relationship-building skills
  • Ability to lead and develop a high-performing team
  • Strong strategic thinking and problem-solving skills
