Michael Page is exclusively supporting a highly reputable business based in Portsmouth who is looking for a Senior Payroll Specialist to join their accountancy team on a 3-6 month temporary basis. Reporting to the HR Manager, you will be responsible for the running of the monthly payroll for c.450 employees. This is a hybrid role.

Our client is a highly reputable manufacturing business based in Portsmouth. Due to company expansion, the business is looking for additional help. The offices have plenty of free parking & require you to go into the office on a hybrid basis.

Job Description

As the Senior Payroll Specialist, you will be responsible for:

  • End to end payroll processing of c.450 employees on a monthly basis
  • Checking, assessing & rectifying errors
  • Updating the system with new starters and leavers
  • Producing monthly payroll reports
  • Calculating SMP, SPP etc.
  • P45, P60 & P11Ds
  • Pensions calculations
  • RTI submissions

In order to be considered for the Senior Payroll Specialist role, you must be able to do most, if not all, of the above.
