Job Description

  • Financial Operations Leadership: Oversee accounts payable, treasury, expenses, payroll reporting, and fixed assets within the UK shared service centre.
  • Process & Performance Optimisation: Develop and monitor KPIs, enhance controls, and drive continuous improvement across all operational finance areas.
  • Stakeholder Collaboration: Work closely with senior leaders and cross-functional teams to ensure efficient financial operations and compliance.
  • Strategic Oversight: Lead financial governance, manage intercompany transactions, and support the implementation of a new ERP system.
  • Team Leadership: Manage and develop a high-performing finance team, ensuring operational excellence and succession planning.



The Successful Applicant

The ideal candidate is a qualified finance professional (ACCA, CIMA, ACA) with significant post-qualification experience in operational finance, preferably within a shared service environment. They have a strong track record in leading teams, optimising financial processes, and enhancing controls while collaborating with senior stakeholders. Excellent problem-solving skills, a strategic mindset, and the ability to drive continuous improvement are essential. Proficiency in financial systems, ERP implementation experience, and a focus on efficiency, compliance, and stakeholder engagement will set them apart.
