Job Description

  • Prepare and oversee accurate financial statements in compliance with relevant regulations.
  • Manage the month-end and year-end close processes, ensuring timely reporting.
  • Support internal and external audits, providing required documentation and insights.
  • Analyse financial data to identify trends and provide actionable recommendations.
  • Ensure adherence to tax and statutory requirements, including VAT and corporate tax filings.
  • Work closely with various departments to align financial goals with business strategies.
  • Maintain and improve internal controls to safeguard company assets.
  • Assist in budgeting and forecasting activities to support strategic planning.

The Successful Applicant

A successful Senior Financial Accountant should have:

  • Professional accounting qualifications such as ACA, ACCA, or CIMA.
  • Strong technical knowledge of accounting standards and financial reporting.
  • Understanding of tax / VAT principles.
  • Proficiency in financial systems and tools, with a keen eye for detail.
  • Excellent problem-solving skills and the ability to work independently.
