As Interim Senior Financial Accountant you will be responsible for the production of the month end accounts and internal controls.Collaborate with finance stakeholders and act as a business partner to our operations and commercial teams.

My client is a leading Retailer within the UK and Europe.

Job Description

  • Contribute to the financial audit and production of statutory accounts
  • Ensure balance sheet is reconciled each month
  • Complete month end activities, including accruals & provisions
  • Responsible for Intercompany reconciliations and reporting to Group
  • Conduct P&L reviews with business controller (v budget & forecast) and engage with the business to address actions
  • Capital expenditure management
  • Look for opportunities to improve processes and enhance SOPs

The Successful Applicant

  • ACA/ACCA/CIMA qualified
  • Self motivated
  • Ability to work with key internal stakeholders
  • Liaise with external audit
