Job Description

Key Responsibilities

  • Financial Leadership: Develop and implement financial strategies to support organizational goals.
  • Budgeting & Forecasting: Lead the annual budgeting process and periodic financial forecasts.
  • Financial Reporting: Oversee the preparation of accurate and timely financial statements, ensuring compliance with accounting standards and regulatory requirements.
  • Performance Analysis: Provide insightful analysis of financial performance, identifying trends, risks, and opportunities.
  • Team Management: Mentor and manage a team of finance professionals, fostering a culture of continuous learning and development.
  • Stakeholder Engagement: Collaborate with senior leadership to provide strategic financial advice and guidance.
  • Risk Management: Monitor and mitigate financial risks, ensuring the organization's long-term stability.
  • Process Improvement: Drive efficiencies in financial processes and implement best practices.

The Successful Applicant

Qualifications & Experience

  • Education: Bachelor's degree in Finance, Accounting, or a related field (Master's degree or MBA preferred).
  • Professional Certification: CPA, CMA, ACCA, or equivalent.
  • Experience: At least 7-10 years of progressive finance experience, with a minimum of 3 years in a leadership role.
  • Technical Skills: Proficiency in financial software (e.g., SAP, Oracle) and advanced Microsoft Excel skills.
  • Regulatory Knowledge: Strong understanding of accounting standards (e.g., IFRS, GAAP) and regulatory compliance.
  • Soft Skills: Exceptional analytical, communication, and leadership skills, with a proven ability to influence and drive results.
