A Permanent Senior Finance Manager is required to take a leading role in the accounting and finance department of a large, well known Charity. This position is key to ensuring financial sustainability and driving the financial planning of the organisation.

Job Description

  • Develop and implement financial strategies for the organisation
  • Manage and oversee all aspects of the finance department
  • Lead on budgeting, forecasting and financial planning
  • Ensure compliance with relevant financial legislation and regulations
  • Provide financial reports and interpret financial information to managerial staff
  • Manage organisational budgeting processes
  • Mentor and develop finance team members
  • Collaborate with senior management on strategic financial planning

The Successful Applicant

A successful Permanent Senior Finance Manager should have:

  • Relevant educational qualifications in finance or accounting (ACA, CIMA, ACCA, etc)
  • Experience leading a finance team within a not-for-profit organisation
  • Strong knowledge of finance, accounting, budgeting, and cost control principles
  • Excellent communication, leadership and organisational skills
  • Proficiency in using financial software and databases
