The team operates in a broad and diverse range of market segments including residential & business supply, nuclear, renewable & thermal generation and storage & flexible energy.Job DescriptionPlay a pivotal role in driving financial performance by partnering closely with the Wholesale Market Services business unit to maximise Gross Margin and manage Operating Expenditure.Lead and develop a high-performing team, delivering expert analysis, insightful reporting, and robust financial challenge to support strategic decision-making and sustainable EBITDA growth.Own the accuracy of monthly forecasts, actuals, and balance sheet transactions for Gross Margin and Opex, while championing a culture of continuous improvement-leveraging technologies like Robotics and AI to boost efficiency.Lead the development of the annual four-year medium-term plan, build strong relationships with senior leaders, and act as a trusted advisor to the WMS Director and Senior Leadership Team.
