This role sit under the Trading and Commodities Risk Manager .

They are based in Yorkshire and Humber area , so are seeking a Senior Credit Risk Manager candidate who can commute to York a minimum of 2 days a week.

Job Description

The Senior Credit Risk Manager will have responsibility for:

  • The design and implementation of the firms Commercial credit and contractual risk policy;
  • Providing independent credit and contractual risk advice and challenge to the Commercial business,
  • both formally through the Risk Committee and through regular informal discussion;
  • Identifying, assessing and determining any potential contractual risks associated with any contracts;
  • Management of key credit functions and collateral utilisation;
  • Key liaison with external credit risk system provider.

The Successful Applicant

A successful Senior Credit Risk Manager should have:

  • Proven expertise in credit risk management within a professional environment.
  • A strong understanding of credit risk management
  • Governance and Controls experience
  • Experience in banking or financial services regulated firms
  • Trading credit risk experience is useful .
  • Comprehensive knowledge of the energy & natural resources industry- ideally
