Save Job Back to Search Job Description Summary Similar JobsFuture ProgressionOpportunity to be a pivotal part of growing this officeAbout Our ClientOur client, an established entity in the professional services industry, their mission is to provide exceptional service and innovative solutions to their broad clientele, which spans across multiple sectors.Job DescriptionExciting opportunity for a Client Services - Senior Manager to work support the Directors in a modern office environment with a small, but growing team.An existing £550k varied SME and personal tax portfolio with appetite to grow this further.Building and maintaining strong relationships with new and existing clientsResponsibility for managing the team with potential to expand over time.Develop, retain and motivate junior members of staff and assist in the management of the team on a day-to-day basisLead, mentor, and act as role model for junior team membersProactively monitor and help to resolve people issues, provide constructive input to colleagues, identify and act upon own and team training and development needs, provide support to career planning of team membersProactive management of budgets, fees targets, WIP and debtorsAdvising on an array of practice queries when necessaryAct as main points of contact within the office for clients, keeping the informed of progress in relation to all aspects of service delivery and maintaining regular contact with themReview work completed by junior team members and resolving all issuesAbility to multi-task and complete assignments within time constraints and set deadlinesWorking and liaising with colleagues in other offices/departments as necessary to provide high quality client serviceKnowledgeable of the firm's services and able to cross-sell those services into the client baseThe Successful ApplicantA successful Senior Manager should have:A proven track record in managing a successful accounting and finance teamStrong understanding of financial regulations and standardsOutstanding leadership and strategic planning skillsExceptional communication and negotiation abilitiesHave proven experience of working in a practice environmentExperience in managing a client portfolioHave a proven track record of establishing and maintaining strong client relationshipsHave a proactive approach to problem-solving and delivering client solutionsBe a motivated individual and able to work alone or as part of a teamThe ability to take responsibility and use own initiative to resolve problems and issuesAbility to communicate clearly with colleagues and clients at all levelsStrong organisation and planning skills and attention to detailThe ability to positively embrace changes and new challengesWhat's on OfferAn estimated annual salary range of £55,000 - £70,000Opportunities for personal and professional developmentA positive and inclusive work environmentBeing part of a respected professional services firm in AltrinchamWe encourage all who meet the above criteria and are seeking a fulfilling role in the professional services industry to apply.
