About Our Client

My client is an award winning firm of accountants with multiple offices across the North West. Due to rapid growth plans, I am looking to recruit an Accounts Manager to join their team.

Job Description

  1. Overseeing the preparation and review of financial statements and reports.
  2. Ensuring compliance with accounting standards and regulatory requirements.
  3. Managing and mentoring junior accountants and staff.
  4. Conducting internal audits and coordinating external audits.
  5. Developing and implementing accounting policies and procedures.
  6. Providing strategic financial advice to clients.
  7. Managing client relationships and addressing their financial concerns.
  8. Preparing and reviewing complex tax returns and advising on tax planning.
  9. Analyzing financial data to support business decisions and improve profitability.
  10. Leading budgeting and forecasting processes for clients.

The Successful Applicant

Chartered accountant (ICAEW/ICAS/ACCA)

5 years+ experience of working in a practice environment

Experience of using cloud accounting software (preferably Xero)

Ideally Management experience

37.5 hr week
