Job Description

Key responsibilities include:

  • Develop and implement procurement strategies
  • Manage supplier relationships
  • Negotiate contracts and agreements
  • Monitor market trends and business opportunities
  • Collaborate with internal teams to forecast demand and manage supply
  • Ensure compliance with company and industry regulations
  • Deliver cost savings and efficiency improvements
  • Produce regular reports on category performance

The Successful Applicant

A successful 'Senior Category Manager' should have:

  • Experience in procurement and category management, ideally within the Beef/ Pork industry.
  • Strong negotiation and relationship management skills
  • Proficient in the use of procurement software and tools
  • Excellent analytical and problem-solving abilities
  • Strong business acumen and understanding of market dynamics
