  • Ensure compliance with procurement policies and procedures.
  • Maintain strong relationships with suppliers and stakeholders.
  • Monitor market trends to identify cost-saving opportunities.
  • Analyse procurement data and provide actionable insights.
  • Collaborate with internal teams to forecast procurement needs.
  • Manage supplier performance and resolve any issues effectively.

The Successful Applicant

A successful Senior Buyer should have:

  • Strong experience in procurement and supply chain management within the industrial or manufacturing sector.
  • Proficiency in negotiating and managing supplier contracts.
  • Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills.
  • Proven experience leading cost saving initiatives.
  • Familiarity with procurement software and tools.
  • Minimum 3 years experience working within a direct procurement role.
  • Knowledge of procurement regulations and compliance standards.
