Senior Business Development Manager will be responsible for leading and motivating the sales team and driving revenue growth within the Energy & Natural Resources industry. The role is a Player Manager role looking to win some large account contracts and build a sales team.

Job Description

  • Lead and manage the sales team to achieve set targets.
  • Develop strategic sales plans to enhance the company's market share in the Energy & Natural Resources industry.
  • Identify and develop new business opportunities to grow revenue.
  • Build and maintain relationships with key clients and stakeholders.
  • Monitor and analyse sales performance and market trends.
  • Ensure the sales team is fully trained and competent.
  • Work closely with other departments to ensure sales strategies align with company objectives.
  • Represent the company at industry events and conferences in Manchester and other locations.

The Successful Applicant

A successful Senior BDM should have:

  • An educational background in Business, Sales, or a related field.
  • Proven sales leadership experience within the Energy & Natural Resources industry.
  • Excellent communication, negotiation, and relationship-building skills.
  • Strong business acumen and strategic thinking.
  • A high level of motivation and the ability to inspire a team.
  • An understanding of the Manchester market and wider industry trends.
