About Our Client

They are a large public sector organisation in Edinburgh.

Job Description

  • To analyse opportunities which have been identified/shortlisted by the automation team.
  • Work with business stakeholders to identify future opportunities which can be achieved via automation. They should contribute towards: Capacity release, Operational efficiency & Streamlining of existing workflows
  • Conduct analysis to define potential value for opportunities, enabling effective prioritisation and feasibility assessment
  • Work with product and technical development teams to establish an outcome focussed roadmap for automation in 2025-26
  • Support the Product Manager with building out a backlog of opportunities and experiments supported by analysis and data.
  • Provide business analysis expertise to support definition and delivery of solutions that meet identified business outcomes
  • Co-ordinate verification of automated outputs with business stakeholders as part of the route to live

The Successful Applicant

A successful 'Senior Business Analyst' should have:

  • A degree in Business, Technology or related field.
  • Proficiency in data analysis tools and methodologies.
  • Strong communication skills to liaise effectively between business and technology teams.
  • Proven experience in leading and guiding teams.
  • The ability to present complex data in an understandable manner.
  • Knowledge and understanding of public sector operations.
