We are seeking an exceptional Senior Accountant to manage financial processes and ensure the accuracy of our financial records. The successful candidate will be tasked with overseeing accounting operations, producing financial reports, and maintaining a system of controls over accounting transactions.

Job Description

  • Manage daily accounting operations including Billing, A/R, A/P, GL and Counsel, Cost Accounting, and Revenue Recognition.
  • Coordinate and direct the preparation of budget and financial forecasts and report variances.
  • Prepare and publish timely monthly financial statements.
  • Research technical accounting issues for compliance.
  • Support month-end and year-end close process.
  • Coordinate the provision of information to external auditors for the annual audit.
  • Ensure quality control over financial transactions and financial reporting.
  • Manage and comply with local, state, and federal government reporting requirements and tax filings.

The Successful Applicant

A successful 'Senior Accountant' should have:

  • Proven working experience as a Senior Accountant.
  • Thorough knowledge of accounting principles and procedures.
  • Experience with creating financial statements.
  • Excellent accounting software user and administration skills.
  • Advanced degree in Accounting.
  • Working towards professional certification (e.g. CIMA, ACCA).
