Job Description

The Risk and Assurance Lead will be responsible for

  • Taking charge of the risk management activities across the business, engaging colleagues and reporting informatively.
  • Implementing the Risk Management Framework, and continuously improve internal controls and mitigations.
  • To oversee the assurance programme.

The Successful Applicant

The Risk and Assurance Lead should have the following skills:

Education:

* Professional certification in or membership of risk management (e.g. IRM)

* Evidence of continued professional development relevant to the roleExperience required

* Proven experience of developing & embedding risk management processes and delivering business assurance work across organisations in the housing sector

* Experience of maintaining strict confidentiality and applying sound judgement

* Previously managed internal audit and/or other assurance programmes

* Experience of managing a corporate insurance portfolio (including potential development and property covers) including annual reviews and claims

What's on Offer

Salary of £55,000 -£60,000
