Job Description

Duties of the Registered Home Manager:

  • Lead and manage the day-to-day operations of the residential home in Stockport, ensuring compliance with regulatory standards.
  • Provide strategic oversight to maintain high-quality care and support services for all residents.
  • Supervise and motivate staff, fostering a positive and effective working environment.
  • Develop and manage budgets, ensuring financial sustainability and efficiency.
  • Collaborate with external stakeholders, including families, healthcare professionals, and regulators.
  • Implement and monitor policies and procedures to ensure best practices are followed consistently.
  • Ensure the health, safety, and wellbeing of residents and staff at all times.
  • Address concerns and feedback, resolving issues promptly and professionally.

The Successful Applicant

A successful Registered Home Manager should have:

  • A recognised qualification in healthcare or management, such as NVQ Level 5 in Leadership and Management or equivalent.
  • Level 5/ LMC - NVQ Level 4
  • Experience working with BESD children
  • Strong knowledge of healthcare regulations, including CQC standards.
  • Excellent leadership and organisational skills.
  • Ability to manage budgets and resources effectively.
  • A commitment to providing exceptional care and support services.

What's on Offer
