Job Description

  • Assist in the recruitment process by screening and scheduling interviews.
  • Prepare and post job ads on career websites, newspapers and universities boards.
  • Process paperwork for new hires.
  • Conduct initial orientation to newly hired employees.
  • Provide support to employees in various HR-related topics.
  • Assist in ad-hoc HR projects, like collection of employee feedback.
  • Help organise and manage new employee orientation, on-boarding, and training programmes.
  • Ensure all procedures comply with legal regulations and best practices.

The Successful Applicant

A successful Recruitment Assistant should have:

  • A degree in Human Resources or relevant field.
  • Knowledge of HR functions (pay & benefits, recruitment, training & development etc.).
  • Familiarity with Human Resources Information Systems (HRIS).
  • Outstanding communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Excellent organisational and leadership skills.
  • Strong ethics and reliability.
  • Ability to commute to Manchester.
