Ensure that all documentation is compliant with relevant laws and regulations.Client Liaison: Communicate with clients, surveyors, estate agents, and other professionals to gather necessary information, provide updates, and ensure that all parties are informed throughout the transaction process.Due Diligence: Carry out searches, including land registry checks, environmental searches, and title checks.Legal Research: Conduct legal research on property laws, title matters, and property rights as required by the solicitors.Administrative Support: Provide general administrative support to the real estate team, including diary management, file management, and preparing client correspondence.Assist with Litigation: Assist with real estate disputes, including landlord/tenant disputes, eviction proceedings, and property-related litigation.File Maintenance: Maintain accurate records of all transactions and client files, ensuring that all documentation is up-to-date and accessible.The Successful ApplicantExperience: Previous experience as a Paralegal within a real estate or property law firm is preferred but not essential.Skills: Strong organisational skills, attention to detail, and the ability to manage multiple tasks efficiently. Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal, are essential.Knowledge: A good understanding of property law, including the Landlord and Tenant Act, leasehold, freehold, and land registration is highly desirable.IT Skills: Proficient in Microsoft Office and case management systems.
